Special rules this week
Equalization: 50,000 stats and 300,000 life

This week all hobos will have their stat totals adjusted to the same level (50,000 total stats). Your speed, power, and strength will each be portioned out based on your current stat ratios. Everybody will also begin with the same amount of life (300,000).

What is Ultimate Fisty Cuffs?

UFC is a weekly tournament to determine who is champion among hobos. All entrants are randomly placed into brackets of 5 that go on to duke it out ultraviolently. The winners of each round receive a portion of the Fighter's Pot and go on to fight in the next round. This continues until there is only one Hobo left standing, and that Hobo will be crowned Champion for the week and win glory and prizes!

Won't the same people just win every week?

Nope! Returning Champions will have their stats handicapped for each previous UFC win under their belt.

What does all that crap at the top of the screen mean?

Glad you asked! Here's a brief rundown:

Fighter's Pot: 95% of entrance fees go into the Fighter's Pot. Money is taken from the pot and given out to the winners of each round of fighting.

Fighters: The number of fighters currently signed up to participate.

Betting Pool: After sign-ups are closed there will be a 24 hour period where players can wager on who they think will win. 5% of betting fees go into the Fighter's Pot and 90% goes into the betting pool.

Tickets Awarded: Total amount of tickets handed out so far this week. Every time a fighter wins a round, everybody who placed a wager on that fighter is awarded tickets. More on tickets and betting below.

Skills: If skills are allowed for the week, and you plan on using them, you'll want to make sure you're drunk when you sign up. The blood alcohol level used for your fights is locked-in when you sign up.

Effects: If effects are allowed for the week (these are candy or booze effects), you'll want to have the effect active when you sign up, as these are also locked in when you sign up. No, penguins do not work.

Rats: Whether or not rats are allowed for this week.

Weapons/Armor/Rings: Each type of gear is either allowed or not allowed for the week.

Behavior: Determines if characters will follow their preset behaviors or not.

Health: Some weeks health will recover after each round of fighting, and some weeks health is carried over from round to round.

Battle Length: How long battles are allowed to run. If more than one fighter is still alive when time runs out, the judges will determine a winner based on damage dealt and damage taken. Possible values are 100, 250, 500, 1000, or unlimited.

Could you elaborate on betting?

Certainly. Once the initial brackets are set, betting will open up for 24 hours. The cost to place a wager is the same as the entrance fee. You can wager on as many fighter's as you would like.

Every time a fighter you have placed a wager on wins, you will receive a UFC ticket. If the fighter you've wagered on wins the tournament, you will receive an additional 3 UFC tickets.

Well, what the hell do tickets do?

At the end of the tournament the betting pool is divided up by the total number of UFC tickets awarded, and bettors will receive cash for each ticket they are holding. In addition, a few lucky ticket holders will receive a special prize! The chances of winning this prize increase for each ticket you're holding.

Anything else I should know?

The Entrance/Wager fee will change from week to week. It follows this cycle:

Week 1: $500
Week 2: $1,000
Week 3: $5,000
Week 4: $10,000
Week 5: $25,000
Week 6: $50,000

And then the cycle starts over. This means the amount of money you can win will vary largely from week to week.
